200 HOUR YOGA TEACHER COURSE
What will you take?
Get your title of Yoga Teacher, after completing the 200-hour training at Lemon Yoga Sevilla.
You will receive a certification recognized by theAmerican Yoga Alliance(AYA) that will allow you to practice as a yoga instructor. Although many of our students sign up for training simply to deepen their knowledge of this ancient discipline.
In our Yoga Teacher Course you will learn:
- History of yoga: origin and evolution
- Ethical and philosophical principles of yoga, classical texts
- Anatomy applied to yoga
- Subtle physiology and mudras
- Meditation and mindfulness
- How to perform asanas with intelligence and safety.
- Structure of a session: sequencing and adjustment
- Use of yoga implements
- Achieving correct alignment in each type using modifications and variations: assisting the student
- Pranayama and meditation techniques
- A pedagogical approach, so that you will be able to transmit the concepts as a good teacher. We will teach you techniques for public speaking and voice modulation.
200 HOUR YOGA TEACHER COURSE
In addition you will receive an extra degree:
- Introduction to Kundalini. We will teach you about Kundalini, or the spiritual energy, according to some Hindu and Yogi traditions, that is believed to reside at the base of the spine and can be awakened through spiritual practices to achieve a higher level of consciousness and personal transformation. (8 hours)

- You will meet other people interested in yoga as a way of life.
- And, most importantly, you will get to know yourself better.
Our Yoga Teacher Course gives you the opportunity to discover yourself, layer by layer. You will be able to get rid of the extra layers to become freer and more you.

We validate previous studies done in the American Yoga Alliance (AYA) although we want to clarify that it is not necessary to have previous knowledge to access the 200-hour course. You only need a mat, comfortable clothes... and a great desire to learn.

What is the difference between the 200h course and the 500h course?
In the 500-hour Yoga Teacher Course you will consolidate everything you have learned in the 200-hour course and, in addition, you will have additional tools and teachings.
You will end up mastering the teaching techniques of yoga, as well as more advanced asanas and their adjustments.
We will delve into the studies of pranayama, meditation and philosophy.
And you will enjoy several novelties with respect to the 200-hour course…
EXTRAS OF THE COURSE 500 HOURS

Personalized Mentor:In the 500-hour yoga teacher course, the student will have a mentor who will accompany and guide them in a specific and individualized way in their practice. The mentor will observe your evolution and progress and will advise you through individualized tutorials.

Practical workshop and final training project:The student will have to carry out a practical workshop at the end of the course. You will have the support and guidance of your mentor to prepare it and you will carry it out at the “end of training” retreat.

Withdrawal "End of training":the training will culminate in a two-day retreat (all inclusive).
We cannot think of a better way to celebrate the end of this 9-month journey together than a retreat where you can relax, laugh, reconnect with nature and with yourself.
In addition, during these two days, each student will have the opportunity to present their workshop to their classmates and the rest of the retreat guests. In this way, students will be able to enrich each other in a very special environment.
